NEW YORK, NY - April 23, 2001 - Sonomic (www.sonomic.com), the world's largest online library of professional samples and sound FX, today announced the signing of a deal with Digidesign^© to be the sample provider for the Digidesign Production Network (DigiProNet).

DigiProNet (www.digipronet.com), a virtual production environment offering Web-based tools and services that complement and enhance Digidesign's Pro Tools™ products, will use Sonomic's proprietary "Search - Preview - Download™" technology to provide instant access to Sonomic's entire online sample library.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sonomic will private label its services for DigiProNet, enabling users to purchase a vast array of samples through the DigiProNet site. DigiProNet users will be able to search for samples by instrument, style, BPM and key, among other parameters. All search results can then be auditioned in streaming audio, and will be available for immediate download in .wav, .aiff and SampleCell formats.
