How to change File Helper Settings in IE 5 on the Macintosh |

1.Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu. |
|

2.In the Internet Explorer Preferences window, go to "Receiving Files" and click "File Helpers." |
|

| |
3.From the File Helper Settings displayed, click on the ADD button and enter the information as shown below : |

4.In the Edit File Helper window, make sure that the application is QuickTime (click on the BROWSE button to locate your QuickTime player application) , the File Type is set to AIFF, and the Handling is set to Save to File. |

These settings should ensure that you no longer have problems downloading files while using Internet Explorer 5. Note: You may also need to change the File Helper Options for the WAVE files. Follow the same steps, but look for the WAVE Clip settings and set the File Type to .WAV. |
