SAMPLEHEADS

SAMPLEHEADS was founded by New York City session musicians/producers Jeremy Roberts, Chris Hajian and Will Lee to create the ultimate live feeling sounds for samplers. Their objective was to capture the musical essence of the artist, as well as the instrument. Their belief is that sampled sounds must retain the organic nature of the performance ("the feel"), or else you're left with the sterile sound that you often expect from off-the-shelf and stock sounds.

CLACK SOUND STUDIOS

Clack Sound Studios, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Tom Clack, in the original Hit Factory Studios. Here, Tom Clack gained a reputation for record company radio spots and ended up servicing most of the major record labels including Columbia, Arista and RCA. In 1980 Clack Studios was approached by two young men involved with the start-up of a new 24 hour rock & roll cable channel. Thus began Clack's long and influential relationship with, first, MTV and then Nickelodeon and VH1. Over the years, the Clack Sound Effects Library has become one of the largest and most all encompassing in the world. Clack Sound Studios clients have included MTV, Showtime, HBO, CBS, A&E, Sci-Fi Channel, AMC and Sundance Channel, among others.

John M. Peters Productions

John M. Peters began creating special sound effects over 25 years ago in addition to building and operating several recording studios. His first published sound effects work was Science Fiction Sound Effects on an LP record in 1978. Since then he has produced libraries on CDs which include the first professional user Science Fiction Sound Effects library on CDs in the 1990s, Jurassic Dinosaurs, and his latest production Thrillers, Fantasies, and Hauntings. Sounds from his libraries have been used extensively in motion pictures, television, radio, computer games, planetariums, amusement parks, and even shopping mall talking robots. His sounds were used in Mars Attacks, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Stargate SG 1, Warner Bros/Steven Speilberg cartoons including Superman, Taz Mania, etc. John’s speciality continues to be designing special sound effects in addition to music recording and mixing.
